The LPHCA does not believe that the question of VAT being added to cash fares both in London and nationally has been resolved.
We hosted an Open Zoom Webinar on Wednesday 8th July for licensed operators, and are continuing to conduct a survey; the results of which will be used to lobby government to re-think the possibility of self-employed drivers needing to collect and charge VAT on fares UK-wide on behalf of operators.
