Thank you to all exhibitors, attendees and special guests who attended the LPHCA AGM & Roadshow on Thursday 4^th July 2024 at the London Heathrow Marriott Hotel.

As ever, there was  a wide range of exhibitors and trade suppliers on display in the exhibition hall throughout the day, with a mix of presentations, industry panels and keynote speakers  in the main hall in separate morning and afternoon sessions, all followed by the LPHCA AGM at 4pm.

Morning Sessions

• The live VAT on Fares Consultation: Gary Jacobs of Eazitax explained why you must respond
• A US Perspective: Matt Daus, President of the International Association of Transportation Regulators gave us his views
• A Viable National Licensing Scheme: James Button, President  of the Institute of Licensing (IoL), set out how this can be done to make licensing easier and cheaper for operators, drivers and vehicles

Afternoon Sessions

• Transport for London Regulatory Update: TfL senior management covered New Regulations from July, including additional vehicle signage, and their future plans
• Women in Our Workplace: this was a special female-only panel which discussed how to encourage more women  into the workplace as an answer to driver and staff shortages

As in previous years, we also featured an extensive selection of the newest vehicles available for the taxi and private hire industry with vehicles on display both inside and outside the hotel, and a designated Vehicle Ambassador Hall within the exhibition itself.
