The 2019 LPHCA Roadshow, sponsored by Cab Treasure, took place on Thursday 26th September at the London Heathrow Marriott Hotel, and the arrival of a candidate for the 2020 Mayoralty race, Conservative candidate Shaun Bailey, was an unexpected bonus.
Shaun gave attendees a brilliant and frank insight into the plans he has for the private hire industry should he become the next Mayor. Key points included making operator fees and English language requirements fairer and reviewing the air quality requirements for private hire vehicles currently scheduled for January 2020.
