In the first instance – any fees for completing our journeys are passed to the passenger/booker/client – the fees are common to all private hire and taxi airport transfers. If I owned an airport – I would probably charge a fee for every car that came in. To have a realistic chance of changing the status quo – I fear that it might take govt legislation – and our political adversary’s need to have the political will and opportunity to take up the challenge.
