The LPHCA are here for our members and partners during these times of uncertainty and we have had considerable dialogue with multiple agencies and key stakeholders during these unprecedented times. Here is a short summary of some of the work the association has been undertaking within the past ten days:

- Help specifically for operators and their drivers (employed and self-employed)
- Dialogue with Local Authorities (UK-wide) on continuity of licensing and re-licensing requirements for vehicles, drivers and operators
- Lobbying for exemptions for the congestion charge and other areas such as LEZs
- Ongoing discussions with various parties who are very likely to utilise PHVs for deliveries
- Assistance with grant and loan arrangements
- Advice for VAT payment delays, business rates holidays and HMRC PAYE and pension requirements
- Lobbying for vehicle emission requirements to be set to euro standards
- Dialogue on new policy implementation – such as CCTV, vehicle emissions and vehicle age limits
