The LPHCA team are busy preparing for the 2026 AGM & Roadshow on Thursday 17th September 2026 at the London Heathrow Marriott Hotel. We are delighted to advise LPHCA Members and Commercial Partners that Chair of the Parliamentary Transport Select Committee Ruth Cadbury MP has confirmed her attendance at the Roadshow and panel participation in the morning session.

The report contains a great deal of positive things. However, there are also some recommendations that have been lobbied for, by vested interests, that I believe LPHCA Members won’t want.
As this transport committee report will influence the Draft Taxi and Private Hire Vehicle Bill and actions that flow from the English Devolution and Community Empowerment Act 2026, getting the Transport Select Committee Ruth Cadbury MP Chair on the first panel will give us the opportunity to enlighten her on what we need, rather than what others want, before the promised consultation is published.
